Senior Property Tax Consultant
Tom Collier is a licensed Texas Senior Property Tax Consultant at Wilson & Franco, where he specializes in ad valorem tax protests for complex commercial real estate and business personal property. He is also responsible for developing and maintaining the firm’s digital property valuation models, leveraging his extensive expertise in real estate to benefit the company and its clients.
Tom joined Wilson & Franco in 2003, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in commercial construction and development. His background includes managing large-scale construction projects and overseeing cost analysis, project management, and team coordination for retail, office, and industrial distribution properties. His direct experience in residential, retail, and office development offers clients a unique and valuable perspective in property tax consulting.
Tom is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT), the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP), and an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. He holds a degree from Blinn College with an emphasis in mathematics and pursued further studies in engineering and business administration at the University of Houston.
Active in his community, Tom has held leadership roles on several business and community boards and has contributed to youth development programs. He has served as a director for the local YMCA and currently chairs the Board of Keels & Wheels, a 501(c)(3) charity.
